Hirose Suzu and Kamiki Ryunosuke will be starring in the NTV Winter 2015 drama "Gakkou no Kaidan" which is due to begin its run from 10 Jan in the Saturdays 9pm timeslot. Hirose plays the role of an ordinary girl who is forced to become the president of the student council and accidentally meets a speech writer (Kamiki) known as the Magician. Synopsis: Haruna Tsubame (Hirose Suzu), an inconspicuous high school girl, is always sensitive to people’s moods and keeps the peace in school. Tsubame’s encounter with the young man, Shizukui Satoshi (Kamiki Ryunosuke), who is a genius speechwriter, leads to a revolution in school. "In a school and in a bigger society, stepping into what is usually guarded and cannot [be] said is similar to speaking out for people who are inside and conveying their message, [this is] an unprecedented new school drama. I think that the [viewers] who want to change their present situation, and those who was changed by their world, [it will] show that one can change their current world! I'm glad to be able to take part in this. Please watch it!"
Note: My translation is a bit off (this was really hard orz). Basically, I think what he is trying to say is that this is a new drama that will show people who want to change the situation they are in, can do it themselves.
