Computer Back!
Hi Guys,
I'm back! I finally got my computer back from the lab. It tested positive for cooties. Lame! I knew looking at porn would get me in trouble. I'm just kidding, of course. Porn never gets me in trouble. Those kids were over 18, right?
Anyway, I decided that I'm more likely to update my LJ if I have some fun new userpics! The first one is my new default, and you can see it up there reflecting my new-found love of the Doctor.
In real life news, I'm going to Washington DC on business on Monday. I feel so powerful and important. I also hope I get to visit folks down that way and have a few laughs. I'm being sent down there to "evaluate the work flow and make suggestions for integration and improvement". Doesn't that sound like a real job? It's not. I'm just gonna walk around writing in my little notebook all day. Blah. Also the vice president of my company invited me out to dinner Monday night with him and his daughter. Weird and awkward much? I'm really nervous because I'm terrible at making small talk. But, if nothing else, it'll be a few laughs.
Other than work life is dreadfully boring. I'm contemplating doing another CAP show this semester (or at least helping out with tech stuff) so I can keep myself occupied. It worries me how easy it is for me to go days without seeing or speaking to another human being. I don't want to turn into a hermit this early in life. I still have years for that!
