I kid you not! I just checked my sitemeter for this journal and I saw THIS:
w00t w00t! That is just sooooo friggin' cool, man! I feel like a celebrity now! :-D
I LOOOOOOOOOOVE YOU, NASA!! MUAH!! You know, we should really do lunch someday! *wink* Especially if you look anything like Joshua Jackson in Fringe. :-) Om nom nom! I'll also take David Duchovny in The X-Files. teehee (Hey! I have a weakness for sexy geeks! The Big Bang Theory is my favorite show! Geeks who look like Napoleon Dynamite or Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons tho? Yeah, not so much. LOL)
Seriously though, I grew up wanting to work for NASA someday (or the FBI and/or CIA, erm...as long as it didn't require me to take a bullet or anything. LOL) but I never had the slightest clue how to apply. :-( I didn't necessarily want to go into space, but I wanted to be apart of it somehow.
NASA doesn't only focus on space, it has contributed to a LOT of the cool inventions we use to benefit our daily lives!
