RECAP: Heroes (Season 3) Premiere - OMG!! SQUEEEEE!!
YAY! I just caught up on the Season 3 - "Villains" premiere of Heroes and all I can say is...
OMGOMGOMG!! I LOVED IT! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVEEE IT!! IF I COULD MARRY THIS SHOW AND BEAR ITS CHILDREN I WOULD! IT'S THAT GOOD!!! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
*Ahem* Okay, now that I've gotten out of my system, onto the commentary...
**SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers ahead! Don't b*tch at me if you open this!
First of all...
ANGELA PETRELLI IS SYLAR'S MOM?!?!?! OMGWTF?! Total ninja mindf*ck! (Which makes me ♥ this series even more because I'm a sick, twisted b*tch with Daddy issues LOL *wink*) I always knew she was a villain in disguise. Or IS she? Hmm... Let me put my Dr. Evil thinking cap on here...*Ponderouspinky*
Sooo this means Sylar and Peter are brothers! Which explains a LOT and totally makes my day! Then again, I just like watching both of them in action. Especially, now that Future Peter is in the equation. Milo Ventimiglia = Lickable Squee. Yummy mancandy! Om nom nom.
And Zachary Quinto... WHEW!! He can pin me to a wall with his mind ANYTIME! What a phenomenal actor! I can't wait to see him play Spock in the new Star Trek movie! *Drools* (Whaaat? I have a thing for Vulcans, aight? Mind ya bid'ness! :-P Hey... I wonder if they let him keep the prosthetic ears...hehe)
When Sylar cut open Claire's head and rooted around her brain like a chocoholic going after a Junior Mint...*Shivers* That really squigged me out. Especially when Claire started talking to him while he did it!
But it did lead to this C-L-A-S-S-I-C piece of dialogue:
CLAIRE
Are you gonna eat my brain now?
SYLAR
Eat your brain? Claire, that's disgusting.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Hey, I hear they don't taste half bad sautéed in butter with a nice glass of chianti. Just ask Hannibal. Hannibal will eat anything! He's like Mikey, only scary. ;-)
Future Claire turning on Future Peter was verrry interestingk. It looks like she tortures him in next week's episode too so I can't wait to find out what's up with that. It's obvious the two have had a thing for eachother since Season 1. Which leads me to ask the following dumb question...(Cause I'm a little confuzzled here...)
Isn't Claire Nathan Petrelli's daughter? And Peter is Nathan's brother... So then that makes Peter Claire's UNCLE, right?? Ew. Am I missing something here? Because it certainly seems like these two share way more than familial interest in each other. Unless that's because they're dating in real life.
The only thing I can come up with is that the show plans on some kind of big plot twist in the future that reveals Peter is adopted or something. Otherwise the relationship blossoming between he and Claire is highly inappropriate. Any thoughts?
Linderman pulling a Lazarus with Nathan and Nathan being the only one that can see him? I don't even know what to say to that yet. I thought the old coot died when D. L. phased him in the back of the head??
Hiro Nakamura rocks my socks. I look forward to every scene he's in. Especially when Ando's involved because he plays a great straight man to Hiro's altruistic overenthusiasm. He's a loyal friend and I'm sure we'll find out he had a reason for killing Hiro in the future. Either Hiro went bad or Ando was right when he suggested that the Hiro Hiro saw wasn't really Hiro but a shapeshifting villain in disguise. Betrayal just isn't in Ando's character.
Niki Sanders has ALWAYS rubbed me the wrong way on-screen (even though I adore Ali Larter) but I also really like her with Nathan. I hope they make her a hero in the long run. Even if it's an anti-hero. I miss Micah too but I'm sure they'll bring him back very soon.
I'm also intrigued in the direction Elle's going to go now that she's out from under Daddy Dearest's emotionally abusive thumb and the Company's given her the heave-ho. Will she become a hero or a zero? She has the potential to be both. I guess only time will tell.
And did anyone else have flashbacks of Jeff Goldblum in The Fly with Mohinder Suresh? I kept waiting for him to curl up into a fetal position and cry, "Help me! Help meeeee!" LOLZ
DAMMIT!! All these cliffhangers and no concrete answers yet because the season's just begun! What a wild ride this is gonna be!
