Ground Control to Major (Glenn)
So... I sorta went on a date last night. Nothing is going to eventuate from it though. Here's why.
Remember that episode of "Seinfeld" when Jerry started dating Jeneane Garofalo and thought she was his perfect mate but then realised why that was... she was the female Jerry. And so he promptly dumped her because he can't date himself. Well, yeah, this guy (his name is Dave) is sort of exactly like me. We both have very a similar sense of humour and such and we're very alike in lots of areas. And that's scary. I don't want to freakin' date myself! So, yeah, we saw X-Men: The Last Stand and ogled Hugh Jackman (he did raise a great question though - why, at the end of the movie, does Wolverine's shirt tear right off him yet his pants remain tightly attached? SHAME). But, yeah... not gonna happen.
Freaky Freak of the Freakiness though, it turns out that he used to live right across the road from me! Like, he moved house 6 months ago, so for about three months we actually lived within 15-20 metres of each other. He said he even remembers seeing us move in! Which is sorta creepy.
How fucked up is that?!
In other news, I got this e-mail today.

has been approved by our technical staff and will be submitted to our supplier
today.

So, yay! That's totally awesome like nobodies business.
What else is news? Umm... school is going good. I've nearly got all my assignments for the semester done. I only have one for each subject left and semester finishes in two weeks, so that'll be easy.
umm... Agi, Emma and Abby (Emma's sister) are all dating guys called Tim which is fucked up.
I'm drawing a blank. That or just nothing is happening. I think it's the latter.
