I just can't wait to be King.
I got the best compliment today. Normally, I'd find sharing this a little weird, but it was funny.
We're grilling for dinner, because that's what Germans do. I take over the grilling, because I was a grill cook last summer, and say so. Maddy says, "I feel like you could do anything." I agree, naturally. Then she goes on, "I mean, you'd never guess it, but you are a pretty capable person and you'll probably take over the world some day." I proceed to half an hour later nearly stab myself with a butter knife while cutting open bread. Maddy happens to be there, and says, "See? You're clumsy, but somehow it works."
I like to think that this is pretty indicative of me. Like the time that Thomas mentioned that I straddle the line between cuddly and badass.
Watch out, the world will be mine some day.
side note, I love the Lion King.
Oh, and Germany's totally going to win the UEFA Cup. And I'm going to be at the Finale at the Fan Mile in front of the Brandenburg Gate with half a million other raging German fans. It's going to be AWESOME.
