I both love and hate how much this pseudo-job forces me to face my overwhelming fear of speaking to someone on the phone. I was getting just fine at doing it in English, just in time to start all over again doing it in German. I hate calling people, but I have to do it, so I get over it. Well, not really "get over it," but I am able to work up the courage to press the call button and start talking to whoever picks up.
