Not having a car can suck. Riding public transportation can suck as well. I don't think I'll ever completely hate it though. I had to catch the bus to work this morning (well, 3 buses). Lloyd was on the first one. I was talking to him and ended up missing my stop and going all the way to Aventura Mall (which made me an hour and a half late for work). In addition to meeting up with Lloyd whom I hadn't seen in forever, I saw one of my old housekeepers on the bus that I had to get on after I missed my first stop. We didn't acknowledge each other, but it just shows how small this world is (or at least the city).

Coming back home, I met this guy named Dio who works in American Apparel. He has a pretty interesting story. He's from South America and he moved to the States with his family. He lived in LA until he got kicked out by his parents. Then he returned here and he hopes to save up enough to work in an American Apparel in Barcelona. We had a really good talk about faith and spiritual matters. I hope that our paths cross again someday.

I realized that the 11 bus runs 24 hours and it goes from the Government Center to FIU. Also, the S runs 24 hours between Downtown and Aventura Mall via Collins Ave, Lincoln Road, and all of that jazz. Knowing that, my world has just become broader (as I now have more of an access to Downtown). Good times.
