WTF IS THIS SHIT?
Car's broken. Again.
Took Jason to work this morning... the brakes were squeaking, there was a thudding noise going on somewhere, and the engine was getting too hot too fast. When I got back home, I turned the car off and everything just... died. I couldn't even lock the doors. So when Jason called me to come pick him up and take him to the doctor (poor baby has a sinus infection...), the engine wouldn't even turn over.
So after I got him to the doctor in my mother's beast of a minivan, my grandparents came over and we worked for about 15 minutes trying to jump my car. Finally worked, and I had to drive it BACK to the dealership so they can take us for another ride. -_-
You know... I thought it was kind of strange that they were doing all this stuff to it that really didn't need to be done. Frame alignment I could understand, especially after they had to bang around to get to the hoses that originally needed to be replaced. Tires, maybe, although Orth's told me I probably had another half a year out of them, back in September when I got it inspected. But then they told us the brakes were completely gone and had ground down into the rotors, which is a load of bullshit because they were new brakes and hadn't been making so much as a peep. Then they changed the oil, which also didn't need to be done.
Whatever the hell they did to it fucked with the electrical system something awful, I think that much is apparent. Now the only question is, how much else is this shit going to cost us? :/
When we were outside trying to get it jump-started, I was saying to my grandmother, "So uh... you sure it's not time to start thinking about trading this in?" :/
