My Japanese final is coming up really soon and I am a little concerned about it. I usually struggle with sentence structure and that's been most of the semester. So I've been trying to cram it in my head as well as I can. So far I think I'm doing alright.
Transitive and Intransitive verbs are making me miserable though.
Mostly because I can't remember which is which verb.
Like:
Shimeru 閉める
Shimaru 閉まる
Usually forget which is which.
Anyone got a nice trick to remember how to do these? Or knows someone who knows a cute trick?
Cause I need it like...now...
The rest I think I'll be fine on with some cramming.
But if anyone is interested in lending a hand, here's what being done under the cut.
How to do something. 方。
手紙の書き方。
川村さんははしの使い方が上手ですね。
かしら informal sentence final. Wondering about something (Female Speech) Attached to informal endings of predicates.
ギブソンさんはもうデパートへ行ったかしら。
ないで can be replaced with the negative てform なくて when the clause expresses emotion, judgment, or reason.
ミムラさんと話さなくていいですか。
て＋みます Try
Volitional + とします Try/attempt to do something impossible.
Again, I think I have most of it, but that Transitive Intransitive thing is just killing me. My sensei says that it's just something that you have to remember...I really hope that there's a trick to it that she hasn't noticed or something cause that seems like a lot to remember.
