Hi! =)

I want to watch something sad that will make me really cry my eyes out.  Any recs?

Not a drama because that'll require some investment of time which I've not got a lot of these days.  Maybe a movie, or an anime movie, or actually an anime series is good too because I find those a lot easier to watch than dramas seeing as how the episodes are ( Read more... )

heyya dude.. sad stuff huh.. first thing that came to mind was litre of tears but you've seen it so..

The Piano was like my fav korean drama ever since it's my first one and it's so damn sad. but it's so underrated (outside korea) and is very hard to find. it's about a father who would do anything for his two stepchildren after their mother passed away (to the point that he almost ignores his own child).. blah i'm so bad at explaining but it's mostly about family and no love triangles so yeah.. it's pretty different so you might like it.

another one is korean again.. sigh.. wait wait.. hear me out! XP it's a movie called Last Present. I don't know why that one gets to me so much. if you haven't seen it don't read what it's about but just watch it. if you still can't take korean someone shared a japanese remake of the movie at jdramas with the same name starring the shindoi guy. i haven't seen it so dunno how well they adapted it but the original was beautiful.

haven't watched anime much but fruits baskets was nice. it's not awfully sad but each episode was pretty touching if i remember correctly (mostly about family, finding acceptance, etc.) it's also nice to look at and has some cute moments.

I would like to clarify that I only watched the One Litre of Tears MOVIE, not the SP, the movie with some unknown girl and no Ryo from JE!!!

It was very sad.

I hate it when ppl think I've watched the SP because I don't think I could cry whilst looking at that Ryo's hideous face.

Is The Piano a drama or movie? It sounds like something I'd like. But I find Korean everything very draggy................. I dunno, I'd like to keep my hair rather than tear it all out :(

Okay I've seen Last Present the Japanese version. It wasn't all that but I remember I cried a bit at the end. Which is nothing because I cry at EVERYTHING haha. Although I have to say at the time I watched it I wasn't totally into the whole J movie thing yet. So perhaps if I watch it now I might be more moved, who knows.

I have Fruits Basket! Okay I'm going to watch that after Aishiteruze Baby. I started it, but was put off by her voice, too squeaky. But then, this was before I watch Bokura ga Ita which had a really cutesy girl in it, so I'm sure I'll be ok with Fruits Basket now.

Thanks for the recs!

And for the well wishes =)
