Об этичности потупчикгейта
Кашин здесь, конечно, ставит нас в ситуацию неверного этического выбора, упуская такое важное понятие как public interest, которому, собственно, и служат СМИ, а вовсе не понятно кем и по каким критериям определяемой объективности. В большинстве систем права именно public interest определяет, возможно ли или невозможно нарушение прав частного лица. Например, в британском Data Protection Act 1998 прямо указывается:

Но в то же время сам умысел вторжения Anonymous (как было заявлено в их ролике, обращенном к московским тиранам) соответствует всем четырех критериям, которые требуются для нарушения privacy и от государственных служб - the data controller (далее d.c.) must satisfy the substantial public interest test, d.c. must satisfy the necessity test, d.c. must show that the processing must be necessarily carried out without consent, d.c. must show that the seeking of consent would cause prejudice to the processing purpose.
Ясно, что речь идет об информации, во всех смыслах представляющей общественный интерес, ну и слава богу, что не о private matters, а то тогда уж по британским законам нам всем было бы не избежать судебного super-injuction (против которого борется само правительство Кэмерона, кстати))))
