"why do girl socks feel so much more comfy than guys?"
parents gone, again, for the weekend. this week: frisco and yosemite national park. i kinda wanted to go but i also wanted to go to lauren's bday thang and get funked up. which i did and semi-conquered.
saturday:
- bball practice at 8am in lakewood.
- jamba juice afterwards of course. power with a protein boost!(thats all i had to eat/drink all day. i super regret not eating)
- came home for a quick nap at noon.
- went to ikea to find a frame. but i didnt like any there. on my way out of ikea, i saw mandy driving in so i tried waving her down. since i wasnt looking forward, i hit this monsterous dip. i have never hit a bump that hard in my life! i hope jenna the jetta will forgive me haha.
- stopped by target. found a frame that i semi-liked. not the one i wanted but time was running out for my gift-project.
- stopped by old navy. bought myself 3 tee-shirts. not bad, not bad.
- went to wesco mall. hollister store of course. HOT GIRLS! gosh damn! bought me a button-down and got lauren a gift card(gift number dos).
- came home and went to work on gift number uno. been planning on doing this gift for awhile actually, just didnt find the time with 40+ hrs work weeks. tried finding pictures of lauren all week. tried to find pictures of her(or us) of when we were little babies and such but its so hard to find the pic albums since the house is still under construction. so i had to resort to pictures of recent(a year or two ago) that i had on my comp or in my "senior year" albums. so yeah, found a few that seemed okay, edited them, crop-ed them, put them into sketch mode and "wala". i hope she likes it. spent some serious thought into this one.
- came downstairs and showed the bro and the guys my "project" that i've been straining over for hours. got the approval. and for my reward, walter helped, or attempted, to "gift wrap" my gift in tissue paper. nice try. still looked a lil funny.
- aytona and fish picked me up around 9ish.
- went to lauren's bday party. got buzzed quickly. a few beers and only two shots. i thought i only had 4 beers but i counted my caps, i had 6 i believe. mostly mgds and coronas. i should have ate something. im weak. i know. fun times. fun times.
it was nice seeing everyone again. had fun convo's with val, ellice, christian and art. plus making jokes at gabbie and nikole is always fun times. joel told me he played my request but i missed out.sulunks. thanks though!
- around 4ish, after the cOps and getting destroyed by rex on the mat...we jammed and went to joel's. then home.
sunday:
- woke up at 10. drank water and took a super cold shower to wake myself up.
- bball league game at 1. we lost. sucks. i shot 100% though. awesome shit huh! super tired. my throat was on fire and it was hard to breathe in the gym.
- i've been tired, but bored and hungry ALL day.
- lounged with the team at my place. ate el pollo loco.
- nap for an hour. then went to mass by myself while the team stayed behind. havent been to church for over a month now.
- came home and found the guys buying ice cream but didnt buy me any! thats funked up. oh yeah, saw olivas as he came home from work. he wanted to go to the mall and shop. but as usual he pulls out and says,"im gonna go to the gym instead." defank. tell me to do something then pull out.sunks.
- byron called. decided to stay home. HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY LAUREN.
- night came. eric, jackie, and cam went to get movies.
- whent they came home, we played hide and seek. irfan and myself hid first. they couldnt find me until they gave up and turned on the lights. haha. funny how eric literally kept walking by me. i was laying on the floor right next to his feet. haha.
- currently watching "never ending story"
