Time is Tight
I have two tight deadlines remaining--the new MW book and a short story for a collection V is publishing. I wish they'd given me a little bit more breathing room--I'd be able to do better work, too.
Anyway, I've been burning rubber to get them done on time, which means no days off until they're done. Both projects are moving along steadily, and I went down to Neskowin with Geo and my dad for a Voorhies family get-together at the beach this weekend. I had to work on Saturday, but I finished the day's portion by afternoon. Even though I had to work it was nice to spend time with Geo and his family at the coast. Margot is giving me a beautiful crib that was Geo's as a baby, as well as some great baby toys that Geo loved. It's so cool that she held onto that stuff.
