Merry Christmas everyone ❤
I have a small surprise present for you. It's a small story that I wrote. It's not fanfiction but it's about Johnny's Entertainment ;)
Years ago I came up with a story that I want to write down one day and publish as a book. My Christmas surprise is a small sequence from the story. To be precise, I'm letting some of my characters talk about Johnny's Entertainment or better some of their bands. So all characters are my own! I hope you will understand what I want to say with this story :)
So: HAPPY CHRISTMAS! I hope you will have an nice christmas time. Now enjoy my story ❤
The Clan and Johnny's Entertainment
For information. The timeline is in the future because of the timeline from my characteres and their ages. Also, the story is totally PG so don't worry. The main plot of my story is that of a group of hunters who hunt the supernatural. It's strongly influenced by TV shows like Supernatural, Buffy, Angel and Charmed. So the characters are some of the group of hunters called 'The Clan'. Hhmm, I can't think of anything else you need to know right now. Should you have questions, just ask me. I'm sure though that it's pretty understandable since I explain the most important things. Enjoy :D
Silently Fabian was singing along with the radio while he cleaned his weapons. He didn't even notice it himself until Christopher looked up from his Laptop with raised eyebrows. "You like KAT-TUN?" he asked in disbelieve. Bastian snorted though he didn't look up from the files in front of him. "I'm surprised he knows anyone from Johnny's Entertainment, let alone their Songs," he voiced his opinion. Fabian growled annoyed at his friends. "Hey, those three are absolutely respectable men! And the former members were awesome." His friends gaped at him in wonder.
Before they could respond Emma entered the room with more files in her hand. She handed them to Bastian who took them with a smirk."Say Emma, what do you think about KAT-TUN?" She stared at him as if she thought he was stupid. "Why the hell are you asking me shit like that?" Bastian's grin grew even wider. "Because your lovely brother just sang along one of their songs that was playing in the radio," he answered. At that she turned to her brother and when she saw his annoyed face she blinked confused. "KAT-TUN? Really?" She asked in wonder, "are they even manly enough for you?"
Fabian stood up to glare at his little sister dangerously. "Don't you dare question their manliness. From all Johnny's they are the manliest." Not in the least scared Emma simply raised an eyebrow. "Nakamaru would run away from our life style and you. You call that manly?" That earned her a finger pointed accusingly at her. "Don't underestimate that man. He has more within him than you could guess," Fabian spit out. "At least he's better than those wimps from NEWS," he added in a conceited tone.
"HA?" Emma crossed her arms in front of her and raised her head high, just as equally conceited, "At least Koyama is not afraid to show his feelings. That's what I call manly!" A snort escaped her, “Also, you'd stand no chance against Tegoshi. He may seem girly, but I'm sure he's much more of a man than you. And besides, you like to think of yourself as the biggest badass, since you're a former gang leader and everything, but believe me, you'd definitely loose in a fight against Massu.”
Fabian threw his head back in laughter, “Massu might be strong, but he doesn't have the brain.” At that Emma smirked, “That's why they have Shige.” With a roll of her eyes she lifted her hand to poke Fabian, “And you're forgetting that Massu studied and you didn't. You barely even made it through high-school because you're such a lazy idiot.” Fabian's mouth dropped and he glared. When he couldn't find a suitable response he turned to glare at Christopher and Fabian. Emma lifted an eyebrow but her lips twitched. “Who do you agree with?” Fabian asked them in a challenging tone.
Bastian simply rolled his eyes and focused on the files again. Christopher smiled though. “Isn't it obvious? The best Johnny's are Arashi,” he answered as if it was obvious. “What? That's so mainstream!” Came from Fabian and Emma at the same time. Suddenly the two siblings were on the same page again. The smile of Christopher vanished and he frowned. “Johnny's Entertainment is mainstream, not only Arashi! It's pretty low to say that just because they're the most popular JE group at the moment,” he accused in an angry tone. He turned to glare at Fabian when he heard a silent snort. “What? Don't tell me you agree with them?” Christopher growled at Fabian.
The red haired man finally lifted his face. “I do,” he answered seriously. Christopher looked at him shocked while Fabian and Emma smirked. Bastian lifted one of the files to slap the two siblings on the head with it. “Don't get cocky. I don't agree with either of you. All three groups are way to spoiled!” Now he was at the receiving end of glares from the others. “So if these groups are spoiled, which Johnny's group do you like that isn't spoiled?” Emma asked in disbelieve. “Obviously Kanjani8, since they had to fight the most to get where they are now just because they're the first Kansai group,” he answered with a roll of his eyes.
"Wait," Emma lifted her hands, her eyes wide in shock, "are you seriously telling us that you like those Clowns who sing about stupid things like takoyaki and Osaka?" Bastian rolled his eyes when they stared at him speechless, "At least they don't only sing about love. It's something different for once." Fabian slammed his hands on the table and glared at his friend. Well, former friend soon, because Kanjani8? Really? "How dare you imply that KAT-TUN only sing about love? They have great motivational songs that aren't about love at all," he hissed. Emma nodded, "And NEWS definitely has the best voices."
All three men gaped at her. Christopher was the first to react. "Did you ever listen to Ohno's or Nino's Solos? They have awesome voices and are very talented musicians," he argued. "Oh come on," Fabian sniffed stand-offishly, "while that may be true, you have to admit that Matsumoto Jun and Aiba can't really sing." Emma and Bastian nodded in agreement. "They may have the looks but not the voice," Bastian said in a matter of fact tone." Emma snorted, "Kanjani8 doesn't even have the looks." It was only murmured but it still made Bastian glare at her in anger whereas the other two men snickered. "Yeah, well, NEWS doesn't write as many songs themselves as Kanjani8. Now who is the best musicians?"
"The best musicians are obviously KAT-TUN. Or where do you get someone who can keep their individualism while fitting perfectly together. Besides, they have Nakamaru who is the only one in Johnny's able to beatbox. And all three are awesome songwriters," Fabian explained with a smirk. This time Bastian snorted,"They're definitely not as good as Ryo and Subaru!" Fabian rolled his eyes annoyed, "You wish. All they can write is emo stuff. Ueda at least writes deep." Christopher shook his head, "You're both idiots. The best song writer in JE is Nino. Who do you think Ryo learned from?" Emma, who had listened for a while, threw her arms in the air. "All of you are so ignorant," she said exasperated, "I mean, hello? Shige is an author. A writer of novels. Did you forget that?"
Fabian was about to respond when they were interrupted by Marie and Anuschka who came in laughing. As soon as the two had set down the bags with Dinner they were approached by their husbands. "Baby," "Honey," Bastian and Christopher burst out. Both women blinked surprised. They didn't have time for a response though. "Baby, which Johnny's band is the best?" Bastian asked Marie as he layed an arm around her. "I want to know the same thing, I'm sure you'll be on my side," Christopher said to Anuschka. "That's unfair. Reika isn't here right now so it's not right for you to ask your wives," Fabian complained. Both women looked at each other before they stared at the four who were looking at them with expectant faces. “Um...” Marie started but Anuschka interrupted her with a roll of her eyes, “That's a stupid question.” “Of course it's SMAP,” both of them said at the same time.
Silence filled the room as four people stared at them in shock. “Honey, SMAP? Really?” Christopher whispered as if it was a forbidden subject. Anuschka frowned at that, “Yes, SMAP. Why?” “Because SMAP is from the Iijima fraction, dear.” Nobody said anything for a while before Anuschka and Marie started laughing loudly. The other four could only glare at them. “This is not a laughing matter,” Bastian growled. “It is,” Marie answered still gasping for air, “I mean you have something against SMAP because they're managed by Iijima? That's so stupid.” Anuschka nodded in agreement while holding her stomach in laughter. Emma sighed in defeat, “Okay, then tell us why you think they're the best?” Anuschka smiled at her warmly, “Oh, we don't think they're the best, they are the best,” “Because they are the Johnny's,” Marie added with a wink. “The first Johnny's band that debuted, that opened a way for all the others. Where would all the Johnny's bands be if SMAP hadn't invented how a JE Band works, like their concerts?”
A snort made all of them turn to the couch. Behind a book they could see Tina shaking her head. "I can't understand what any of you see in those JE bands. They're all produced and totally mainstream. Those poor Idols have no live," she said in a slight disgusted tone. "Yeah, that's why you have your laptop full of Hey!Say!Jump," Jakob teased her from his place in front of the couch. His eyes were focused on his video game on the TV though. Tina slammed her book down to look at her twin brother with her eyes turned to slits. "You've been on my laptop?" she hissed.
When Jacob didn't reply Tina closed the book loudly and slapped his head with it. "How many times have I told you not to go through my stuff,” she told him angrily, “and so what. I'm 10 years old so I'm still allowed to idolize people.” With that Tina glared at her brother, “Besides, you're the one with all the Hey!Say!JUMP pictures on your phone.” She huffed in a stuck up way, “I saw you look at them for hours. Don't start preaching me!” Without another glance she lifted her book and continued to read.
Jacob had paused his game to turn around and glare at her. He could really see why he would become dark in the future with the hate he was feeling for his twin sister. Not only her, but also his older sister and brother. Why were all his siblings so damn stuck up? And damn, why did he and his sister have to be clairvoyant. It would be better if he wouldn’t know about the future. “Yeah, well, I'm just lucky I'm not such a wimp as them. I'm glad I'll be much more of a man in the future,” he sneered. “Though with your future taste in men it's no wonder you like them,” he added unnecessarily.
Marie and Bastian looked at each other troubled but as soon as Marie wanted to intervene in the fight of her children, the door opened once again. “Mom, Simon called to tell us that he and Reika are on their way back. They got the ghost,” Elisabeth informed the group while she handed the phone to Marie. Before anyone could respond Tina raised her voice from the couch. “Hey Lizzy, which JE band do you think is the best?” She asked her sister. Elisabeth turned around to look at her younger sister in confusion, “Eh? My favorite Johnny's band? I didn't know you were interested in Idols.” Jacob rolled his eyes, “No, she meant which JE band do you think is the best, Baka.” “Oh,” Elisabeth frowned at that, “what question is that? Of course all of them!” “WHAT?” came from all adults in the room which made the teenager jump.
Elisabeth looked at her family wide-eyed while they were gaping at her. “Um, why are all of you so surprised?” She asked in wonder. “Because they fought over which JE band is the best and all of them have their band they believe is the best,” Tina explained with a grin. At that Elisabeth raised an eyebrow, “Seriously?” When everyone looked at her a little guilty, she shook her head. “That's really...I have no words. I mean, yeah, my favorite JE band is Johnny's West but that doesn't mean I think they're the best JE band. All of those Idols are humans who are giving their best and each of them have talents of their own. Each of those bands is working hard. It's just that Johnny's West is my taste, nothing more. To fight about taste doesn't make sense,” she told them. Then she pointed to the phone in her mother's hand. “Simon wants you to call him back, mom,” she said before she turned around and left the room. Silence followed her departure since nobody knew anything to say to that. “A group of adults defeated by a thirteen year old,” Tina snorted while her twin brother laughed loudly.
The end
