Hi there,
Welcome to kame_centric . This community was created because all of us mods wanted to see a place where we could find our favourite guy in all the posts in a community. We wanted a place where we didn't have to look far to find our favourite pairings. Whether it be Akame, Ryokame, Pikame, Kokame, Kameda, or any other not too well-known Kame pairing, we'd love to read them all, and I'm sure all you Kame fans out there would love to find all your favourite pairings in one place.
Thus why this community was created.
Right now, it's just getting started, so if you have any questions, suggestions, feel free to comment here. We'd definitely love to hear what you think about some of the ideas we have that might happen in the near future.
But first things first, there are some things we'd like your opinion/suggestions on:
1) If you look at the tags, you will see that we don't have many tags right now. Actually, some of the tags won't show up until after they've been used; however, the tags that ARE there are: pairing: akame, pairing: ryokame, pairing: pikame, pairing: kokame and then the basic fanfic tags, such as length and rating. If you have any other tags you would like to see here (we are going to have author tags at some point in the near future, once the comm has enough posts to HAVE author tags), please comment and tell us. Remember, any Kame pairing goes.
2) Also related to tags. Should we have separate tags for dramas, in order to make it easier to find such fics. Such as, would you like to see a tag for say...Shuji x Akira, or HayaRyu, or Kousaku x Miroku? Or should they just remain under the category of their respective general pairing?
3) We are also thinking about holding fic contests here, because it'd be interesting to see and probably fun for those participating. Now, we know that akame_ holds fic contests as well, so would you like to see fic contests for the pairing of akame too ( considering that there are fic contests in the akame_comm) or should we simply stick to all the other Kame pairings out there? When the community really gets started, we'll explain the process of how we will actually conduct these contests. We hope everyone will at least think about, if not actually, participate ^^
4) Video fanfiction is allowed on this comm. For those who are unsure what that is, it's a fanvideo that tells a fic, either with subtitles or not. As long as it shows some sort of plot in it, it IS allowed. However, videos that are simply fanvids, as in it's a tribute/fanvid for Kame, but has no plot or anything like that, is not allowed. This is also mentioned in the rules, but we would appreciate that if you post video fanfics, to post the link/embed right onto the community. You can f-lock it if you wish, but as long as it's on the comm, just in case your lj you post it to gets deleted or something of the sort, we will still have the actual video embedded/up for download on the comm.
