So far, it's been a great winter break, and not just because of Christmas. I've been catching up on my sleep, visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (yay), and enjoying the not-so-blistering-hot-and-humid Florida winter weather. Also, I've spent a lot of my time trying to finish my KidLiz doujinshi, and now I only have two pages left to ink/color digitally. After that, I'll need to work out the printing setup and price.
Which is why I'd like some help, since this is my first time doing something like this. ^^; For those who are either interested in purchasing, have purchased doujinshi before, or like to express helpful opinions, how much would you be willing to pay for a 24 page doujinshi (technically 12, since it's back-and-front) made by me?
Any tips from those who have made, sold, or purchased doujinshi? Type of paper, binding, print setup, etc?
If you're interested in buying a copy, let me know, so I can know how many copies to print at first (I get a 10 pages free for every 30 pages I print).
Sorry for the obnoxious watermark. ^^; I've been reporting a LOT of art theft on deviantART this past week, and I'm starting to get paranoid.
Also, I finally did it! I finally went ahead and wasted my money on something totally awesome and useless that I've been wanting for a while!
DEATH THE KID BEANIE!! People rarely wear beanies in Florida but I HAD to have it! 8D My fangirl stupidity didn't end there, though.
That's right, A WAND FROM OLIVANDER'S! I got a Ravenclaw scarf as well, but I forgot to wear it for the picture.
Sunshine daisies, butter mellow, turn this stupid, fat rat yellow!
See Ron? Fred and George's incantation does work.
So yes, that's my pet rat Miles. Here's what he looks like without the Photoshop trick:
And his cagemate, Tobey:
