Help Please!! Doujin and Convention Questions
So, I’ve been considering selling some prints/buttons/etc of my work at MegaCon for over a year now, and recently, I’ve been consumed with the idea of writing/drawing a KidLiz doujinshi. However, I’m extremely inexperienced with both, and so I have questions for those who have either sold doujinshi and art at conventions (particularly MegaCon) or bought doujinshi and art at conventions.
Please, please, please help me by answering any of these questions! And be honest, I really don’t mind. I’d rather hear that my work isn’t best for prints or doujinshi than to be flattered into thinking I could pull this off and end up wasting time, money, and effort.
First and foremost: Is my work and skill level adequate for either doujinshi or prints? Basically, do you think I could earn enough to cover the costs and make it worthwhile? My deviantART gallery is here: http://kamden.deviantart.com/
Doujinshi:
How do you publish your doujinshi? Do you go to a place like Kinkos, or do you go to a publisher like lulu.com?
How many orders and purchases does it take to cover your costs? Is it difficult to meet that quota?
Typically, how much does it cost to publish/print your doujinshi?
Is there a good market for doujinshi in English-speaking circles?
What is a good price for a doujinshi (not including shipping)?
How do you go about selling (or buying) doujinshi online (which sites, payment, etc)? Or do you prefer selling (or buying) doujinshi at conventions?
Would you be interested in a KidLiz doujin (G or possibly PG for angst) from me?
Do you have any advice for me not covered by these questions?

Do you like browsing through the Artist Alleys at conventions? Do you buy any merchandise there?
What are good price ranges for such merchandise that would be appropriate for my work? How much would you pay for a print from me?
Do you sell (or buy) such items online as well? What sites and methods do you use?
Although I would make the merchandise from new works, are there any existing works in my gallery you think would make a good print/button/bookmark/etc? (I would likely revamp any existing works)
Do you have any advice for me not covered by these questions?
