Thoughts while watching Season 4...
Giles is all Hugh Hefner at the beginning of The Freshman, but back to totally stammer!Giles at the end with the kids. So which is the real Giles? I think the stammerer.
And if he wasn't hanging around in a velour robe in the middle of the day with a beautiful young scantily-clad woman for the purpose of making some kind of point to the kids ("I don't need you - I haven't even noticed that you don't seem to need me"?), why wouldn't his door be locked?
And that lame "I must ignore you so you'll be self-sufficient" thing that he turned into his mantra in Saeson 6 has its first appearance here. Not even Tony can say it as if it makes sense.
If Sunnydale U. is only 5 miles away from home, wouldn't Buffy have patrolled here regularly before? It seems to be full of vamps.
