Weather Brain
I had the most awesome storms this morning! There was no fear of a tornado so I could just sit back and enjoy. There were 3 lines and all 3 hit (which is odd b/c they usually go around us). There are trees down, we had some flooding and the rain rate per hour was 11.59" at one point! We got a total of approx 2.3" of rain but that was in a very short period of time. Best of all, I was even quoted by one of local meteorologists here when I reported the rain rate...total rain...and how fast the BAR was moving up. Unfortunately, I was typing so fast when I reported it that I spelled a word wrong so now I look totally stupid...LOL. Oh well. I would have given it more attention if I knew he was going to copy & paste what I posted to the IM/Stream that we use. Usually, they just do a re-cap for the local blog & news but I guess they were so swamped that they just didn't have time to do it any other way.
Anywho, here is the blog....it was quite an eventful day! (There are several pages in entries just for this morning....)
