On FF13's voice acting:
There is something very similar about the way Lightning's voice actress delivers her lines and the way Katee Sackhoff delivered her lines as Starbuck on BSG.
For the most part, I like the voice acting in FF13. Vanille still gets on my nerves, but that's a very widely held opinion. I'm pleased with pretty much everyone else. Also, apparently a lot of the voice actors from previous FF games got to do minor NPC roles.
They've gotten to the point, though, where they're starting to recycle voice actors in major parts. Jihl Nabaat is actually the same voice actress as Lulu, although I wouldn't have noticed the similarity if I hadn't found that out. Also, apparently Yuna's voice actress does Agrias in the PSP remake of FFT.
