FFXI: I tried Dynamis, and I liked it. Also, there are indeed Quadav Ninja in Dynamis Bastok. ^_~
Phoenix Wright 2: Finished it on Sunday. The last case was far and away the best -- nice and twisty. It's not the Turnabout series for nothing.
Engarde's "Let me consult with... myself" where he reveals his true colors managed to be fairly chilling. He's an actor, so pretending to be a complete flake isn't that hard, but I wasn't expecting him to turn out so sinister. Although the scars and wineglass thing were a bit over the top. Then again, over the top is part of what makes these games so fun.
The part at the very end of the trial with the videotape was very confusing, though. I initially thought the reason why DeKiller was trying so hard to protect it was because he knew what was on it, not because it was part of his contract. The latter makes sense considering how seriously DeKiller takes his contracts (he really has to) but it took me a bit to actually see it that way. Is that what's supposed to happen, or am I just totally off in the way I think? ;p
So on the DS front, Professor Layton bonus puzzles next, then The World Ends With You. On the other games front, maybe I'll just screw the sidequests and finish off FF12.
