so yesterday i was out on the boat and we got a page that the whales were all the way down at victoria again which totally sucked cuz the last time we went all the way down there all we got to see were the whales getting their freak on....not worth the 3hr boat ride out there. This time we made it down there and i was grumpy cuz i was assuming another repeat but right when i spotted the pod one of the large males started heading towards us. That in itself is pretty cool but when the big guy busted out 4 HUGE jumps right next to us that made my month...how freakin cool is that? I've never seen a whale come so close to us but they were really curious yesterday and were playing all around us...i love my job...plus im picking up a fat paycheque tomorrow so thats a bonus.
Looking forward to hitting up the Buck and Ear...its the first time i've been since i left ...cant believe i've stayed away for so long!
meh cant think of much else to update on...big al's is going ok...its obviously not as fun as the whale watching job but i love the guys who work there.
