wedding post?

So what's the lj etiquette on posting about weddings? Do we have to wait until they come back from honeymoon and do their own write up so it doesn't become old news in the meantime?

Gone are the days when you'd have to wait for the weekly post carriage to send a letter to Aunty Dora about it! :/
