So after a tad bit of prodding by some "anonymous" individual, I guess it's time to let you all in on an aspect of my life.
Have a seat, take a breath, ladies and gentlemen, Bill is dating again...
...yes, I know, it came as a shock to me too.
Her name is Christine (Chris) Scudder, and she's an awesome girl. She's a Junior at Carthage College, a social work major, and has one of the greatest smiles I've ever seen. Not to mention that she reads my livejournal, so the random compliment here and there has its merits :)
I asked her out to dinner about 3 (4?) weeks ago, and I half-expected her to point, start laughing, and say "with you? fuck no." Suprisingly, she said yes. After taking her out to dinner a second time, I asked her out "officially." She basically said "Why didn't you ask sooner?" I guess that meant yes.
It took a while to get my bearings straight. Some people found out and wanted to know more about my girlfriend. At first I was still trying to adjust to the fact that I had a girlfriend. It's honestly been awihle, so I've been a bit rusty with the whole "relationship" thing. Regardless, she is a great girl, so I've been digging deep into the inner workings of my brain and started dusting off the "how to be a good boyfriend" manual. So far she's been patient with me, which is a plus.
Eh, that's all I have for now, other than freaking out about the GREs, Grad Schools, three papers due within the next week, work back home, work at school...it's been a non-productive week ;p
