lake effect...ugh
I always forget how much impact lake effect can have on our winter weather. The past couple years, Rochester has been lucky in that we haven't had a major lake effect enhanced storm. So much for that. The updated snow totals after this is over have my area of town with 16 to 20 inches of snow. Based on what we have so far, over 20 is likely. right now, our temp is 14 and with wind chill our temp is minus 14. Tonight the low with wind chill should be close to minus 30. Things I am thankful for today...my electric blanket, my snowblower, and my neighbor that lets coop out when he's home, so I don't have to go home at lunch to do it.
