Side Collections - New Update!
Right, gonna stop failing at uploading and spamming people with picture links, and actually upload these all organised and tidy ^_^
Firstly, my two main side collections; Corphish and Chatot!
I'm trying not to go the obsessive route like I have with Zapdos with both my corphish and chatot collections, so I'm just buying cute items and figures, but only for good prices, rather than me jumping on things and paying loads. My favourite items! Corphish Pokedoll! I LOVE this plushie, it's definitely one of my most favourite plushies in my entire collection. He's so Pudgey and soft and fat and cute and and and you get the point. And my Shiny corphish kid! Took me a while to find hi, he's a little scratched but I don't mind, how can you not like a pink lobster?!
And my chatot collection! I seem to have more of chatot, helped by him being in a movie of course. And I did not realise how many plushies he has! I actually have one more not in this photo too, I need to take an updated one! Personally my favourite of my chatot items, along side my chatot pokedoll, is the Pokedoll charm! It's so unbelieveably cute! And the plushies are definitely what I've been concentrating on, I really love them. I just need to find the reversible pokeball plush, the Good Friends Puppet, and the Banpresto Mascot Plush to complete my plushie collection ^_^
Ok, my other side collections are grouped into the types of merchandise, rather than showing these all individually, as I have far too many little collections of pokemon I like.
First up, my plushies!
My Pokedolls, Friends, Applause and Tomy Fingerpuppets! And a random bath buddy too!
How cute is that zapdos pose? kfdhgfdjkg xD and the Laties resting on Natu? I think they're definitely some of my favourites ^___^
And hiding behind everyone else at the back facing my bed is my super huggable CASHPHISH, whos is awaiting the arrival of his partner in crime, BOACH! ^____^
And the other place I keep my plushies, on this most AWESOME plushie chain I bought from riolulz!
This is where all my Banpresto UFOs, Jakks/Hasbros and some random Keychain plushies go. Guarded by a giant bat of course.
These next pictures aren't /technically/ my collection pictures, but my fiancé Craig's, but as I'm the one buying them, and only two have actually been presents, I'll post them here with my collections xD
I'm so close to completing this mini eeveelution collection, only Vaporeon to go! And the Jolteon canvas is the only one of these I could afford, as Jolteon is his favourite pokemon. and somehow my own Amphy canvas has joined the Jolteon... Craig's been stealing my plushies again xD
Ok this last picture is a little old, as all of these plushies are packed away in the loft, and I can't get them down right now, but I thought I'd post this as it's the only record I have xD
These are my Giant plushies, my talking/moving plushies, PlaybyPlay and my collection of loaaddsss of those little Hasbro beanies! I bought them all for cheap when they were in the UK.
Right, moving on! Next up are my Zukan!
My Burds! Zapdos and Articuno zukan with awesome bases, the Moltres at the front is the newest release Zukan, and the two figures at the back are the UK releases of Gacha figures which aren't quite zukan as they're not to scale, but are every bit as detailed as them!
My legendaries! I'm /never/ going to afford a Lugia zukan, so the movie version is a fitting substitute. Again, the second black based Latios/Latias one is the UK Gacha figure, still amazingly detailed!
Fossils and a random Steelburd! I love fossil zukan, little details like the actual Fossils in the rocks are just plain awesome. I'm just after the set of three Omaster/Aerodactyl/Kabutops as that is such a cool zukan too.
Burrddsss! I'm still missing my most sought after Pidgey line zukan, but these birds are all awesome too. I LOVE how small Natu is, and Spearow's pose, and how cute Hoothoot is, and I'm not even a huge hoothoot fan! This zukan just makes you love him.
Dragons, insects, lizards, and other things with wings! again, missing a big zukan I want, Dragonite line, but I'm so happy to have got my hands on Flygon, definitely one of my favourites!
The first shelf of my water pokemon! I have a secret love of these, I love stingrays and the expression on quagsires are the best xD and I love the way the Buizel zukan as been made with their tails spinning in water-like plastic, it's a shame I lost one of their tails, though!
The rest of my water pokemon! Including my crustaceans, I do love my lobsters especially. And OMG that barboach is the smallest zukan piece I have ever seen!! It has to have a tint cradle for it to sit in! Totally amazing.
The rest of the zukan from the set I bought to get Zapdos, I decided I loved the quality of these too much for me to sell them and split the set. Gotta love that Bulbaditto, it's so cute!
No theme here, just a mix of lots of cute pokemon. Spheal was an exciting get for me, I'd been looking for it for ages, that expression on Spheal's face! Totally brilliant xD And Treecko climbing on that stone is so well done too.
Everyone should recognise this set, it's the newest one minus the Cherrim line, as I don't fancy that one at all. I had originally just bought it for the Pory line, as I had been waiting for that, and I wasn't disappointed. But then I decided I was curious about the beasts... and fell in love with those too!
And last but not least, the slightly unloved bottom shelf! These are one's I've picked up on the cheap in the UK, and haven't sold on, it's so hard for me to part with zukan! Plus a little Leafeon/Glaceon zukan I picked up as they were cute.
Next up, TFG! I'm trying not to collect too many of these, and resisting collecting the Bottlecap or chess figures too, but these are my favourites again.
So glad I managed to get both of the Laties again (guess by now I'm a bit of a closet Lati fan too huh?) And I really love the detail of these figures, especially how shiny and well made Skarmory's wings are, and the post of that Spearow! So amazing.
Right, one last really old scary picture with mixed things in it. I wanted to take a picture of all my Tomy figures and my other misc figures like those little Mystery bag figures etc, but it's going to take a while to dig those out. So here, have a really old picture from around 4 years ago! xD
I know there's some booty Tomys in there, and some of my zukan again, but this is the only picture of my Tomys and mystery pack figures. At least it's all lined up nicely all OCD style ^_^
And one last huge picture of neatly lined up figures, my Kids collection!
I think the kids are the collection which shows what kinds of pokemon I like the easiest, ranging from all my feathered friends to my dragons and dragonflies, down to some lizards and random crustaceans and then back to my old love of starters. This is my cheapest and easiest collection, and it's so cool to collect ^_^ (Also, the smaller pictures underneath will enlarge for closeups when dragged into your address bar ^^)
