SHWEET
Yesterday I helped Patches family move into their new house. Its father away, but its close to where I work, which is pretty cool. We all went out for dinner afterwards, which was pretty fun. We told Lena that we were going to tell his parents about the engagement and tattoos AT dinner, which we almost chickened out on. She was cracking up all night, which was pretty funny, because his parents thought we were all stoned, even asked to see our eyes.
When we finally did tell them, they were pretty shockd, but extremely happy. His mom immediately wanted to know all of the details of the wedding, which there are none. They totally dug the idea of getting tats instead of rings, though, those will come later. His dad nearly started crying and his mom was totally excited, went out and bought an ice cream cake, while Pat and I brought champagne. It was an absolutely awesome night. We went home and spent our last night at the Ancala house together, his cat curled up between us. It was a lot of fun.
I have NOT told my parents yet. I am, however, taking suggestions as to HOW to tell them. I think I'm going to drop it on them like when I got my first tatoo. (Out to dinner with my cousins, whom we hadn't seen in over 10 years... was about to leave anyways, so I flung off my jacket and exclaimed "Ha! I got a tatoo!!" Started laughing and ran off...didnt even get a rise out of either of them) If anyone has a better suggestion, please email me*.
On a side note, I smashed the top digit of my ring finger, my nail is black, the finger is red and swollen and it hurts like hell. I keep on smashing it into things and hitting it onto shit, no bueno. Its really gross.
Anywho, VERY soon, like sometime this week, I'll be putting new pix up on my myspace account**, so please check them out!! (new fiancee pix, new tat pix, new fun pix, maybe even a nasty finger pic!!)
