Yunho let his hands run across the smooth expanse of Jaejoong's back. He caressed everything from the bend of his spine to the arch of his shoulders where an ever-present tattoo stood out against Jaejoong's skin. He stared at it for a long while, letting the size and shape imprint in his mind. His fingertips traced the newly added wings that had finally healed, and followed the looping pattern of the font until finally coming to rest on one of Jaejoong's shoulder blades.
He smiled thinking of the shocked response from their fans when Jaejoong had shown the special trick he could do with them. Yunho had discovered it just a few months after the members had started living in the dorm. Jaejoong had been too tired from practice to make it to his room, and had fallen asleep on the living room couch, much like today. Yunho had come out later to move him to his bedroom. What he'd found had been incredibly odd and somehow sweet.
When the older man was in deep sleep, they moved on their own.
Jaejoong had explained he couldn't stop it. It was just something that happened that he hadn't even been aware of until his mother had caught their movement when he was 10. Jaejoong avoided him for the next few days, always making sure to sleep in his room with the door locked.
Yunho had been devastated.
He wanted to see Jaejoong's special trick again.
It wasn't for another two weeks that Jaejoong slipped up. He'd fallen asleep in the dance studio waiting for everyone to finish his individual practice activities. Yunho and Yoochun had been getting fitted for stage outfits when they found Jaejoong in deep sleep. Yoochun hadn't seemed surprised; instead his gaze had been focused on Yunho, judging his reaction.
"You know?"
Yoochun had grinned, shifting his stance to a relaxed one that said, 'it'd be more of a surprise if I didn't know.'
Yoochun had gone off to see if Changmin and Junsu were finished with singing practice, leaving Yunho to wake up Jaejoong.
To say it hadn't been awkward would be an understatement.
It took three months for Jaejoong to be comfortable around Yunho again.
It took one insanely curious, and completely tactless Kim Junsu discovering Jaejoong in deep sleep too.
