Help me, IMdB Kenobi... You're my only hope! ...and Psych
For some reason, I'm watching The Snow Queen (Hallmark Channel? Me?) and there was a character in it a little while ago that I couldn't get over how familiar he looked. Bugged me till I finally looked him up on IMdB.
OMG! It was Psych's own Buzz! Hee!
Loved the Shawn and Gus in last night's episode. When Shanw first hear's there's a armed robber in there with Gus and he nearly flattens both Lassie and Jules to get in? Perfection! And I even managed to refrain from going all dolphin squeaky noises, flaily hands at the hug/"I love you" part. Probably only 'cause I did exactly that when I saw it on the preview last week. ;)
Adored Lassie in this one, though. Too cute. And random Buzz sighting! OH! Little Boy Cat reference, with built in Little Girl Cat crack! And seeing as how the original Little Boy Cat was actually a girl... Heee! Love!
Anyone else find Cameron the SWAT guy's name hysterical, given Alan Ruck playing Phil? Everytime I see him, my first thought is "Cameron!" In fact, iirc, I yelled that during Eureka a few weeks ago when he played the geologist.
And while I know lots of folks - some friends among them - think the Shawn and Jules thing is cute... it's annoying the ever loving hell out of me. Especially when, not for the first time, we go into hiatus on a scene of them - not Shawn and Gus. *sigh* The anvils hurt, and I'm tired of them. Never mind that most often when a buddy show tries to write in a relationship for one half of the buddies... there goes the ratio of buddy scenes. Roller derby episode is a prime example, with its AWOL "he's studying" Gus.
I think I've been burned far too many times, by far too many shows. I trust no one. ;)
Am both very eager for, and slightly dreading the new episodes in January. ;)
And after Gustav's three days o'rain (over 10.5 inches - sheesh!) now comes Ike, and our first tornado warning. (And growing up in tornado alley... I have a very healthy fear of those. Just the sound of the sirens can make me queasy.) I live in a landlocked state, for crying out loud! Two hurricanes? That's kinda unheard of... well, in my memory anyway.
AND the Arkansas vs Texas game had to be rescheduled. It wasn't going to be remotely pretty (kaly does NOT like the new Arkansas coach one bit, and is mostly dreading every game this season) but it was going to be on TV. Not that football is the important thing during a hurricane, yes, I get that, but doesn't change the fact I wish the game hadn't had to be rescheduled.
