I think my job hunting has reached a new low. I called the radio station again today just to even see if the job was filled. They are giving me the run around. The owner is ignoring my calls. I've only called twice in the past week and a half and I was supposed to hear about the job last week. I feel I'm being ignored. It's either that or our phone isn't receiving all calls.
The landlord is ignoring dan about the snow plow she hired hitting his car and denting a whole back side panel. He just wants the number of the person so he can talk to them about a settlement because it's dented in so far he can drive the car. On top of that now we have to deal with all this legal shit that came from his unpaid speeding ticket. It's just a huge mess. Cops fuckin impounded my car before I could get there to pick it up since they were taking dan in. That was a fun early Saturday morning. Now I drive him around because his license is cancelled (in colorado at least). So he can keep his delivery job I am going to be doing the driving, he does everything else. I won't be getting paid for this so hopefully it won't keep me from getting any jobs. Why am I doing this? I'm too nice and know we can't really afford to lose out on any income. So frustrating.
At least I have the Denver Car show to look forward too. I'm hoping they have a few of the concept cars I saw on TechTV. We are going to meet Koabi, Eric and Katie (friends from a few VW and Scirocco forums) and Edition719 forum people as well. We are meeting at about 12pm on Sunday at the convention center and then off we go to drool. I want to sit in the new Range Rover, it's hot. The new Shelby mustang is gorgeous. I love the stuff they hand out, keyschains and such and they always have scantly clad female models at these car shows, to up the hype. Can't complain there. Then I believe we are going to dinner then back up here afterwards. Oh and we might go check out this car that some guy is giving Dan for free. But since he can't drive right now we can't get it back here. But yea that should be good times and it'll be nice to be in a city again. It's no NYC though.
Well breakfast calls. Adios.
