Reading The Guardian yesterday, I was entranced by this line in an
interview with Jonathan Pryce in which he reminisces about his earlier days at Liverpool's Everyman theatre (where he's now playing Davies in The Caretaker):
"We once did a double bill of King Lear and Winnie-the-Pooh on the same set. I struggled as Edgar and Owl, but Tony Sher got good notices doubling as Christopher Robin and the Fool."
