A very interesting sounding game!
Produced by Runic Games, Torchlight has had a considerable amount of input from some of the team behind the fantastic Diablo including development by Erich and Max Schaefer, as well as music from composer Matt Uelmen. This is already very promising! :)
I didn't get much chance to play the XBox demo of it (though my gut suggests the PC version would give me that Diablo-esque fix I'm after far more than the XBox one), which I'm a little disappointed at; I gave the controller to a friend and said "here, have a go" while I helped put my child to bed, and not only did he not even offer the controller back, but he went so far as to need me to actually TELL him to stop playing so we could watch the film we'd been planning to see. I mean seriously, who DOES that?! It's just... RUDE! And it's not like he doesn't actually have the exact same demo on his own bloody XBox!!! Bah. /rant
Anyway - one immediate problem has presented itself: we don't have an HD TV. And boy do we NEED one for Torchlight! But dammit, I'm going to give it a bash regardless.
The style is a little lighter-hearted than Diablo, more like World of Warcraft in terms of colour, animation and so on. Also present is a slightly more 'Steampunk' inspired influence, however I am ok with that :)
I shall tell more when I know more, but for now I am very excited :D
