Ah... XD; That's Lazlo. I just called him that ever since Sui 4 was announced so... I have trouble sometimes remembering to call him Lazlo for everyone else's easier understanding.
>__> Those names... *sigh* I can accept Riou well enough by now since I don't particularly care for him (I still want to call him Kuwan and not care about everyone calling him Riou), but... the spelling for Tyr's name... Urgh.
Or they just know nothing about Gaelic names. I mean, if they used somewhat proper spelling for McDohl (though Teo is mispelled, it's supposed to me Thyoh if we're talking Gaelic here), one would think they'd repeat that for Tyr.
I think they were going with a more Japanese feel, given the names of his family members. I know he was adopted and all, but something tells me they didn't have names before Genkaku.
Who is Lucas? I'm having trouble remembering...

Ah, I see. It took me awhile to adjust to Tir and Riou as well, so no worries.

Tyr is more appropriate for a Gaelic originated name, yes. What's the actual spelling in Japanese? That might clarify which is correct.

Because NO ONE would pronounce it write. I, for one, despise my ethnic language. It's just a series of fucking tongue twisters.

Just about everyone would pronounce it like Thigh-o, and not Teo. In Gaelic, Th followed by a short vowel is a t- sound, not a th.
