Rock Band
For my birthday this morning, the pixies introduced me to the Lead Singer function of Rock Band. We made a very good girl band with Ernie's guitar, Curly's drums, and my vocal stylings. Our fashion theme was "pajamas, bathrobes, and bedhead."
For the record, I am awesome at "Blitzkrieg Bop" and having the Winchester Brother Version of "Wanted Dead or Alive" burned into your brain is not an advantage when attempting to match Bon Jovi's rendition vocally. Also, manning the microphone makes you responsible for the cowbell on "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" and for the tambourine on "Be My Girl." green_tea_lady, you will be dismayed to know that I have no rhythm whatsoever and therefor cannot be trusted with the tambourine after all. We shall have to re-work my plans for becoming a rock star sometime soon.
Additionally, my friends send the best birthday cards ever. Special recognition for feliciakw, sarcasticval, and Sam-I-Am. *smooches*
