Dear brain:
Please pick a verb tense and stick with it, at least for the duration of a given fic. Seriously. This is getting old. First, it was the random attacks of present tense. Then, when I gave up and started writing mostly in present tense, you wanted to go back to past tense, but only sometimes, and never for long enough to get a whole fic out in one or the other. Please stop. It's getting to the point where I look at a verb and literally have to make a concerted effort at seeing which tense it's in because otherwise I can't tell. What is wrong with you?? I shall go mad!
