oh, hello

So, I'm following this Panic! website thing with avid interest. Their site has been replaced by a blank page, but if you check the source code, you get this:

There's been a new line added every day; the first time I checked it just said "Oh, hello". They also got rid of all the graphics on their MySpace, and put out a MySpace bulletin with the ( Read more... )

And I'm SO confident that this album is going to be fantastic. I think it was great for them to spend so much time on it. I love that they knew that things weren't really working the first time around and instead of continuing to pursue it, they went the other way. They know their band. The know what's best for them ( ... )

I KNOWWWWWWW. The album that they wrote in the cabin and then trashed must have been so MAGNIFICENTLY GOD AWFUL, but I'm sincerely excited for this thing now. If there's one thing I'm genuinely impressed with about this band, it's that they've changed more than I could have imagined, while still staying completely awesome. I love the new songs! I love each insane look Ryro trots out! Floral scarves? Cowboy influences? I APPROVE of every single wacky thing they do.

I honestly don't know how this album is going to be received. I have no idea. I know a lot of people will hate it. But I'm so proud of their stupid FACES for doing their own thing no matter what. ♥ ♥

I love your icon. :D

Me too! They change and they're all, "I don't care if you don't like it. WE like it. Boo-yah!" Oh boys.

I think fans who are reluctant to change might not like it. They want them to follow the same path that they did for the last album. But I'm hoping that their fan base will expand anyway. And I know there are lots of older fans (and mature young fans) but I've been hanging out over at the Panic! comm and I'm getting more and more annoyed with the comments I've been reading. They sound like 10 year olds.
