Hey, just ftr, there is one thing that will still make me read Due South fic: if someone writes men getting pregnant. DS flisters, please to keep this in mind. If there is ever F/K mpreg, let me know, okay? Great!
I'm not going to even
talk about bandom mpreg because I might get verklempt. I just. I want it so badly, you guys, so very very badly. Especially if it's Pete getting pregnant, because based on canon that is a dude who seriously likes babies, like really a lot. And I know babies don't solve problems, I do, but - but oh man, what if he were pregnant with Patrick's baby? Think about how much he'd want it, how much he'd adore it from the very second he knew it had the possibility of existing. And yet he'd feel like he couldn't be a good father, like he wasn't ready, and at the same time OH he'd want it so badly, and it would be tearing him up inside. While maybe Patrick would be kind of a douche and FREAK OUT about it and yell a lot and finally flat-out demand an abortion. And Pete would just go silent.
Guys I want it a lot I'm not going to lie
Ummmmm what else is new. I had kind of an amazingly ridiculously awesome weekend that
I'm not sure I can even sum up, but let's just say that
strobelighted and
etben and
angelsaves and Joseph from the Clan store are all very very fun people who I would recommend spending some time with if you get the chance. And stealing knives from Clarke's Diner is easier than you might expect! And spoons that you buy for 99¢ a package are magnificently shitty. That's about it, really.
ETA: JORI. I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING: I CODED YOUR NAME ABOVE FOUR TIMES AND LJ IS EATING IT ALONG WITH THE "AND" IN FRONT OF IT AND I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT'S POSSIBLE.
pre_emptive WAS THERE TOO EVEN THOUGH LJ IS TRYING TO COVER IT UP WTF
Oh, and when in doubt, blame Pete Wentz. WHAT IS YOUR DEAL PETE. WHY WERE YOU NOT DOWN WITH US CATCHING OUR DAMN BUS. Sigh sigh sigh life is hard.
I bought
ANOTHER WOLF T-SHIRT. Oh my goodness, oh man. It has now become my ultimate dream to purchase a wolf t-shirt for every single bandom band, a dream which will probably never be realized, if only because Ryan Ross would choose death first.
No, but back to Pete Wentz. Have you heard his singing? It is
MAGNIFICENTLY WRETCHED. Sometimes I like to think about him and his rocker boot and the increasing levels of absurdity his hair aspires to and basically his entire existence and then I like to lie down in a darkened room and laugh for a year or two.
Bandom, you are all my dreams come true. Or,
well, on a slightly more serious note...
It is a very strange feeling when one is loving a clock that is to every one of your class of living an ugly and a foolish one and one really likes such a thing and likes it very much and liking it is a serious thing, or one likes a colored handkerchief that is very gay and every one of your kind of living thinks it a very ugly or a foolish thing and thinks you like it because it is a funny thing to like it and you like it with a serious feeling, or you like eating something that is a dirty thing and no one can really like that thing or you write a book and while you write it you are ashamed for every one must think you a silly or a crazy one and yet you write it and you are ashamed, you know you will be laughed at or pitied by every one and you have a queer feeling and you are not very certain and you go on writing. Then someone says yes to it, to something you are liking, or doing or making and then never again can you have completely such a feeling of being afraid and ashamed that you had then when you were writing or liking the thing and not any one had said yes about the thing.
