Vacation Continued

Jul 19, 2011 22:55

I have already visited a girl in Taiwan last weekend who is in part 4 of my story.  I'm still on part one though...I could blame not having a computer for a while...tonight I decided to use my time to record a song I neither love nor hate...it's a different style for me.

I have to say that so far Korea has been great.  Koreans party hard, their women are fine and the barbecue is good.  I'm free to live like a hermit and work out all day or lock myself in my studio and record, or I can take an hour train ride to Seoul and have a rediculous weekend, like 2 weeks ago when I went to Itaewon and Hongdae.

My Korean is still at 0, but I'm volunteering to teach a couple English classes in exchange for some Korean lessons.  It will also help me get integrated into the community and meet some cool people I hope.  This weekend I want to go to a mud festival. Next week I hope to do my first open mic. In 3 weeks, the girl from Taiwan comes to town.  Why can't I ever find someone in the country I am currently living in??? Whatever, I know that someday my adventuring will come to an end, so I better take advantage.

Getting the inside scoop on North Korea has been fascinating to say the least.  This is a very interesting chunk of the world.

Vacation story...you guessed it....TBC.
