This morning I realized that Mahabharata (or at least Bhagavad Gita) and Ramayana has been on my to-read list for roughly 16 years.
I'm 22 now, so that means I had a to-read list at the age of 6.
I wasn't very good at writing though, so this list was all in my head. As the years go by, things get buried underneath other things. But a bit of digging revealed that.
So, yeah.. I'm not fond of translations but not very good at learning languages. Are there any good translations of Mahabharata out there someone would like to recommend? I'm leaning towards the Krishna Dharma version at the moment.
In shallower news: I got me a new pendant today:
pic. The sword is new. The dragon is a couple of months old. They're shiny.
I must clear out my digital camera more often. I have pictures from Ireland and New York there.
The short version: in New York there is the statue of liberty and a gaping hole. In Ireland there is guinness.
