They're gonna put it down

So, for the past week I've been in Vegas, residing at the Aladdin Resort, located right in the middle of the strip. People were there. Fun things were done! Poker was played with Ruberik and Dethridge to name a couple. Astronomy was discussed with Reid and Rustyoldman to name a couple. The roller coaster around New York New York got ridden twice. Heights just seem a lot more higher when you're next to a large hotel/casino.

Las Vegas is not a bad place. Unless you consider morally bad. Or, well, you mind having one road completely tacky and the rest just cruddy. I lost my chain of thought here.

I took a few pictures and put them up at my gallery. I managed to leave the camera at the hotel on friday night when we went for a big sightseeing tour of the strip though. I should see if I manage to get some pictures from Ruberik. The Luxor was a bit fancy to look at. So, yeah; most of the pictures are of the lions and tigers and leopards at Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden at the Mirage. I think they turned out rather good. Especially if you happen to consider homosexual activities among lions inherently good, but even if you don't, I think you might like them some. The Secret Garden was rather small, but the little they had was quite nice. And I got roared at!

I brushed the dust of my bike today. It's not in a very good shape. It's nine years old to starts, and a bit worn and rusty and, well, frictiony. I replaced the rear brakes since they were worn down to the metal. The front tire really should be replaced too (I only replaced the rear one last year), but I think I'll just aim for getting a new one for my birthday and struggle with what I got in the meantime. Besides, a crappy bike means more exercise.
