I can't believe how long it has been since I made a post or even looked at LJ. Life has been pretty busy the last month, and I don't have regular access to a computer anymore.
So anywho.... let's start out with this,
Last weekend I went out drinking for the first time in a long time, I didn't get drunk, but I did get tipsy and felt like I was on top of the world, LOL, Iwas jumping and climbing things....... well that was until I fell off of a flower planter and ripped my elbow open, it then dawned on me, that this was the first time I have had a scraped elbow in like 15 years hahahaha(or more shhh, i know i'm gettin old)
Anyway, onto bigger news, I have moved onto a new job, I think I should (at this point anyway) be a little vague about the job, I will post more on it later, for now, let's just say that my education and experience have finally come together and I now make about $85,000 ( yes eighty-five thousand) a year. It is going to feel so good not to have to worry about money again, My little girly is going to have a very spoiled Christmas, since she is the only one I have to spoil, being single is not the greatest at times, but oh well....life goes on....
I should be able to get out of debt finally....another really great thing, and I have decided that come spring time I am going to buy a new Pick-up truck, then I am going to give it a two tone paint job, I just need to decide what colors to paint it. The job is great, and they have an awesome pention plan if you are there for 20 years, and really 20 years does not seem that long, and it must be a great company because more than half the staff have been there for 15 years or more.
I have also been looking at an investment property that I have found that I could pick up for a very low price (by Calgary standards) and selling it quickly for a good profit, then I would be able to build a nice brand new house.
This has pretty much been the shittiest year I have ever had in my whole life, however, it seems like it is giong to end on a good note and then next year and the years after should be great. I am strangely looking forward to spending my life with my little girl and giving her all that I can.
Anyway, I hope all is well with those of you on my friends list. Life goes on.... as always hahaha
