An end to everything ...
Hey all,
So tonight was an end to it all.
I finished 3 1/2 years of planning events, drinking with, rocking out, and generally being a president for the alternative crowd of southampton university (for free I might add :P) with a night at the pub. RockSoc was hard work, I worked with the livesoc to fight the union to bring alternative music back to the union, I fought(sp?) my own commitee to keep a variety of all alternative music at these events (not just metal), I created the fancy dress, suicidal, and a range of other pubcrawls. I WORKED for rocksoc.
A single night at the pub is an inexpensive, low effort event to ask - especially for an end of year event that members of rocksoc should be attending anyway.
Yet so few came, and STAYED...
Id like to thank, Dave, Jade, Shez, Patrick, bart, ant, clare, stu, al, sina, adam, kola, rob, sam, katy, mike, sarah, and everyone else that came, made me smile, and stayed with me for my final event. Im thankfull that my efforts were appreciated by some.
