Zombies!!!

Morning all,

Been a while since I last updated (pretty sure every update begins with that line) this is in part due to work, but also due to a void of much of interest happening. Last 2 months basicly sumarised as me running around to finish coursework and spending hours getting pissed off at myself for no good reason.

However the hours running around after coursework paid off, I got my results for the smester the other day and found that I had a 71% average (a first) which is my highest score yet. This couldn't of come at a better time as I have reacntly been rather pessimistic/depressed at my Computer Science abilities and this gave an obvious boost to my confidence, and in addition I am looking into applying for a PhD and this is obviously making me look much more attractive as a Researcher. In other news me and Jade spent valentines day going to see edward scissorhands in the mayflower, we dined in the wessex suit first and although extortionate the food was absolutely divine. As for the show ballet is something I've never been to see before but found myself enjoying it very much, the show was absolutely fantastic and captured the excelence of the original story. The only other event of note in the previous months is I have secured a house for next year; Me, Jade, Mac, Sina, Al, Darren, and Emma will be living on Alma Road - should be awesome :).

As for things on the horizon well I will continue to struggle with coursework and very slowly look for potential PhD oportunities. The rocksoc elections are coming next week - I will probably make another update shortly about this displaying my thoughts. Im very much looking forward to Unit 22 - hopefully it should be exactly what the alternative club scene in southampton needs. And also coming soon is the rocksoc easter pubcrawl, for those of you that would like to attend the date its thursday the 23rd, and the theme is Zombies, there is a game once again and the rules for it can be found on the rocksoc forum at this address http://www.mandre.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2074 would be great to see you all there :) - drinking and zombies: a perfect combination.

Take care y'all.
