(no subject)
Today was fun... I was at work by 7 and all that jazz... Bri and I worked together, I taught her the espresso machine... we made one of every drink...
Then later on when it was still me, Bri, and Brittany I was getting a freshly brewed batch of coffee out of the containers... and what do I do with this amazingly hot coffee????... I spill it all over my hand... so the water facet was my best friend... then I used the magical burn relief spray and life was good...
Then the day went on... yada yada yada... and right before I left (after I should have been leaving) this group of people came in, ordered a frappe and hot coco, and another group of ladies came in right behind them... so I'm making the first two drinks since they were there first and these ladies are yelling at me and trying to get me to pay attention so I can take their orders... well that's slightly hard to do when I've got milk steaming and trying to watch the espresso machine since earlier it was dead... Lindsey came over, had them tell her what they wanted and just told it to me... well I'm trying to concentrate on other stuff and ask her to write it down... so she does, but didn't write what kind of large mocha... mocha frappe, latte, what????... then Sara comes off her break and starts helping me just as I finished the first order, which they guy gave me about an 85 cent tip (all his change basically) because he'd been standing there the whole time listening to them... the entire time these ladies (well it was more like just one lady out of the three, but she was making up for the other two) just keeps yelling at us... and when we got all the drinks done she's complaining that they were there for twenty minutes and that we took to long and she doesn't like our service... AGG... they walked in the door and were gone in about 10... it's not my fault they ordered a frappe, mocha latte, and iced coffee... and as the ladies were walking off I helped this other woman who just glared at them as they went out the door and before she left so leaned on the counter and said "I think you're doing an awesome job, don't listen to them"... so that made me happy... then one of the cashiers was completely upset by how snappy people were being...
So today wasn't all that great... I've had enough of people being mean to us when they can't find everything they want for christmas... stupid people...
