An interesting long weekend!
I spent it at the Gaia Gathering, the Canadian National Pagan Conference. It was nice to see some people I hadn't seen in a while, and meet some new ones! I also attended a really interesting talk about about Comic Books and Magick. It seems that Alan Moore, who comics like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Watchmen, and V is for Vendetta have been adapted into movies is an occultist of the Ceremonial Magician of the Telemic type. But not to be outdone, there is also Grant Morrison, who is a more "modern" Magician, and into Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth type Sigil Magick...and Chaos Magick, with a healthy dose of Discordianism. Although not as famous as Moore, Morrison's stuff is very, very good. I now have to dig up his stuff! The one book that is recommended is The Invisibles....Any Discordian writer is worth checking out!
