We have an answer!
Some of you already know, but Chris was able to go to Minneapolis last week for his interviews. Of course those went extremally well, we have the relocation package we wanted, and Lifetime is flying both of us to Houston tomorrow morning!
I will be there until Friday morning, but Chris will be there until October 1. I have to find our apartment while I am down there, but there are a lot of complexes in the area around Chris' Lifetime so that should not be hard. We will be moving the first week of October.
This is SO exciting!!! Stress sucks, but now we know.
We were able to go out one last time Saturday with Ryan and Erin. Had a great night with them, Jon and Becky.
Finally told my boss - I deserve an acamedy award for that performance. I basically set it up that last week was the first I had heard of this entire situation - she thinks I am very distraught and that we won't move. Today may be hell though - she doesn't want me gone so much during the week this week, but I cannot change the flights. I have too much going on to deal with her crap if she gives me any, so I am prepared for the worst from her and this may be it. It is so hard to tell how she will react to anything though - my stomach is so upset right now! Ugh...
