2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? depends on the gift
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? ussually colours everywhere but i have seen some really tasefully done up trees i want to do
4. Do you hang mistletoe? nope, it is poisoness and we have animals both domestic and wild being rehabbed in our house.
5. When do you put your decorations up? when we can find them and get family together
6.What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? ham, five cup salad, celery boats, green stuff, deviled eggs.... i love what ever my family cooks so long as it isnt turkey, fish, or stuffed peppers *G*
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? sleeping under the christmas tree because i loved watching the lights
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? cant remember any time i truly believed in him to tell you the truth.. but then again i had 3 olders sisters that probably let me in on facts early
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? well growing up it was open 1 gift on christmas eve and open rest on holiday, then switched to all gifts on eve and santa/stockings on xmas day, to everything on xmas day
10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? we didnt leave cookies ... but we didnt leave oats sparkled with glitter out for the reindeer
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? well grew up in germany and now in texas.... i have to say as a kid i loved it.... somewhat miss it but all i get now is sleet and ice
12. Can you ice skate? nope, weak ankles and lot of fear
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? the fruit, money, nuts, and chocalate orange in the stocking
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? family and getting to give them something ... and laughing.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? ma maw's secret recipe award winning pecan pie'
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? my dad jokingly saying i wonder what the poor people are having" because his family grew up poor and we had really hard times too
17. What tops your tree? angel my mom and sisters made with professional heads and such
18. Which do you prefer - Gift-Giving or Receiving? giving more. I love giving people things and i never know what i want
19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol? the more churchy ones... more vocals or one i learned at all state choir camp called "to him we sing"
20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? most of the time i hate peppermint but i love cinnamints
