I get the suit thing now.

You know how in the Hitler episode (though now I'm concerned there may have been more than one and I'm combining them) a magical Nazi runs off and mid-pursuit Sam and Dean go back to the car and change out of their suits and into their street clothes? And just like, generally make a point of changing when the suits aren't strictly needed, I suppose. I TOTALLY GET IT NOW.

I mean, it makes sense for many reasons. The nice fed suits (which suit people have told me are legitimately nicer now than the S1 suits were. I wouldn't know) need to stay nice! CLEAN! UNMARRED! And they're harder to run and fight in and have significantly fewer pockets.

But I now understand that deep, underlying impulse to immediately disrobe after the suit has served its function, because you know you are a charlatan (and are also very afraid of messing it up).

This isn't necessarily an impulse I've felt as readily for normal business or semi-formal attire, even though that stuff is also nice and often restrictive and needs to be handled in a certain way to ensure its longevity.

But the Job Interview Suit?

Oh yeah. Yup, I get it. getitgetitgetit
