Oh, before I heard a single chord of the song, I was already emotional over your beautiful words about it and about Sam. <333333 (this idea that the world is worth saving, life is worth living, happiness is worth chasing, and goodness is worth being, no matter how perilously difficult it is in practice or how profoundly stupid you feel for believing in that, or how at odds your own existence seems to be with such a reality. AAAAAAAHHHH) I've been listening and repeat-listening, and the lyric "the boy who would reach for the stars" is killing me every time. Something about the term "boy," in particular. <333
